Indian Premier League Confirms South Africa Switch
-
Welcome Back!!
The Indian Premier League (2009) will now take place in South Africa.
The security concern in India forced organisers to move out from India. The election in India is also going on in the same time. The biggest democracy needs tight security to have fair election. The Indian govt. is pouring lots of money to have safe election. The estimate money spend on election is around 1000crore. Anyways After all the hustle and bustle the Indian Premier League chairman announced the switch in the press conference.
I personally didn’t like the decision take by IPL management. IPL is designed for India than why to take IPL out of India. The chairman of IPL “Lalit Modi” statement in media was not so good. Elections in the country should be the first preference always. Some people who are blaming Indian govt. should think first security of Indian people come first not cricket. India is huge country and it’s very hard to manage two big events in the country at a time. What if any of player or team faces any trouble they who will be responsible? It’s not that India is not capable of security, the govt. was happy to have the IPL after finishing the election. Comparing this to other countries I haven’t seen any big tournament in America when elections were going on.
Comments from England Fast Bowler Andrew Flintoff -
“It’s disappointing news because one of the big attractions for me about the IPL was playing in India,”
“I love playing cricket in India, particularly one-day cricket.”
Even the little master Sachin Tendulkar didn’t like the decision of IPL in abroad.

I know many people are not agree with the decision of IPL, but if we think deeply or think from view point of IPL, then we feel that the decision is correct. As already Aditya told that “it’s very hard to manage two big events in the country at a time”So my suggestion to all Indian and also to Andrew Flinoff that everyone has to accept and satisfy with the current decision of IPL and it is good for all.
