WINDOWS 7 which is a series of operating systems produced by Microsoft for use on personal computers , including home and business desktops, laptops, tablet PCs, netbooks and media center PCs. WINDOWS 7 includes a number of new features, such as advances in touch including photo editing, or even drawing with all 10 fingers in paint!!!!, handwriting recognition, support for virtual hard disks, improved performance on multi-core processors, improved boot performance, and kernel improvements.

The beta version of Windows 7 is available on Microsoft.com. It will take time to get a proper version, Microsoft  would like to fix all the bugs first then launch the stable version.  

As for performance, I think Microsoft is going to surprise people. And if you’re working for an enterprise that hasn’t upgraded to Vista because it won’t run acceptably on your existing PCs, you’ll want to look again at Windows 7.

Windows 7 will fix the speed gap between Vista and XP. I hope we get a good and advance OS to use in future.
